Should I sell this diaper bag??

snoopy diaper bag

Question by Aneres: Should I sell this diaper bag??
I got this really cute snoopy diaper bag that a friend from church bought for me for my baby, I'm not really so sure who bought it, but It was on my registry but it's not the one I wanted, it's really huge!! I know that I probaby won't use it since I already have three other diaper bags, but I would like to get some money for it if I can sell it, it's brand new and someone else might want it. I'm selling it for a good cause though, my husband and I will lose our apartment if we don't have money for our rent and to pay for this computer. Is it wrong for me to do that?? Even if it's for a good cause??

You can return it... but you'll most likely only get store credit.
I don't really see a problem with selling it - if you can find someone to buy it. The person who bought something for your baby - wouldn't want your baby to not have a place to live.

If you can't use it, sell it or return it. You don't have to hang onto three excess diaper bags out of guilt.
If your friend asks, tell her that while you loved it, you already had three diaper bags, so you exchanged it for something else you needed, and that you really appreciated her gift.

    Go for it!
It was a gift, now it's yours.
You might have to think of something to say when this friend who gave it to you asks about it tho.
Sell it on ebay, that way there's no chance that this friend will see it in the future.

If it's on your registry, you can take it back to the store where you're registered. If you don't have the receipt, you may only get store credit though, depends on the store's policy.
If you didn't want it, why did you put it on the registry in the first place?

You are having a baby and can't even afford rent? Sounds like you shouldn't be having any children to me. Sell the computer and buy food for your kid!!

Gurl, put it up on Ebay. You may get more than its worth. Just make sure to take good care of it while its in your possession and take a very detailed picture of it so the buyer can get a good view on it. But I say, go for it. Like the previous posters said, its yours now, do what you want with it. Good Luck!

Of course you can sell it, it is yours now. Don't feel bad. Or like someone else said....take it back for store credit (always need diapers & wipes!) Good luck
